Emma is delighted to be working with Edinburgh International Festival again this year. From March until August, Emma will be posing as librarian, book shop worker and First World War nurse in venues in and around Edinburgh. Edinburgh International Festival


In June 2012, Emma will be singing the part of 'the loveliest librarian in the Lothians' in a Guerrilla opera project run by Edinburgh International Festival.

It is a story of unrequited, slowly to be requited, love between a librarian and a visitor to the library. It is a unique opportunity to hear art songs in an unusual, but very fitting environment.

It is being performed in libraries all across Edinburgh in the week commencing 11th June 2012, starting at Stockbridge Library on the 11th at 15:30.
Venues and times will be released daily on the EIF website ad on Twitter...

The Creation (Haydn)

Edinburgh Bach Choir


On Saturday 4th June, 7.30pm at Greyfriar's Kirk, Edinburgh, Emma will be singing the soprano solos in The Creation (Haydn) with Edinburgh Bach Choir, conducted by Neil Mantle.

Dvorak Stabat Mater


Emma will be singing the soprano solos in Dvorak's Stabat Mater with Calton Consort , conducted by Jason Orringe, on Saturday 11th June 7.30pm at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh. Tickets are £8/6 available at the door.

Orpheus in the Underworld


Emma will be cover of Diana in the new Scottish Opera/NI Opera touring production of Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld. The production is touring all over Scotland and Northern Ireland.
